Risk management services and resources to help you with today’s practice challenges
CAMICO knows that insurance alone is not a solution for reducing risks. That’s why you have access to CAMICO’s proven approaches that have helped numerous CPA firms manage risk and avoid claims. The following highlight some facets of policyholder benefits available to you and your staff members.
Advisory and Consulting Hotlines
Unlimited, no-cost access to toll-free hotlines for advice on a wide variety of practice management topics. Consult directly with in-house CPAs and experts in general loss prevention, tax advice, accounting and auditing issues, potential claims, and subpoena services.
No-Cost CPE Education Opportunities
Focused on the latest risk management trends for CPAs, CAMICO provides training and NASBA-accredited CPE that are available to all members of a policyholder firm – through webcasts (average of 26 free CPE credits per year), online self-study courses, and live presentations (to groups of 40 and up).
Subpoena and Consultation Services
Specialists assist with subpoenas and requests for information. When warranted, this may include assistance by counsel to respond to legal processes such as civil subpoenas, criminal or grand jury matters, and regulatory or third party requests for information.
You and your staff have secure online access to a wealth of resources on the CAMICO Members-Only Site including 100+ sample engagement letters, 8 resource centers, 200+
articles, plus war stories, eAlerts, archived IMPACT enewsletters and much more.
No-Cost Practice Management Tools
These individual pieces, when used together, provide CPAs a support system of protection from liability.
NEW! Coronavirus Resources
In response to the coronavirus pandemic, CAMICO created a ‘Coronavirus Resources’ page on the Members-Only Site containing timely risk management guidance, tools and resources.
Potential Claims Counseling
Experienced in-house Claims Specialists provide counseling on potential claims in order to avoid a claim or reduce its impact. Firms are encouraged to notify us of potential claims situations as early as possible. CAMICO’s experience shows that early intervention can minimize potential damages before they escalate. That’s why we assist with potential claim matters on your behalf and at our own expense. Early reporting may qualify you for a reduction in deductible, and potential-claims expenses do not affect the firm’s deductible or limit.
Claims situations can be extremely stressful. With your practice and reputation at stake, it is easy to imagine the worst. In the event that a matter turns into a claim, CAMICO
is with you every step of the way. Our dedicated team of experienced claims specialists will guide you through the process.
CAMICO regularly sends out emails on webcast schedules, eAlerts on timely issues, and CAMICO’s enewsletter – IMPACT. If others in your firm are interested in receiving
these communications, please email email@example.com to have them added to the list.
