- Policy covers all full-time employees, part-time employees, and temporary or leased workers. Independent contractors may be added to the policy by endorsement, subject to underwriting approval
- Third-party claimant provision protects the firm in the event that an allegation is made by a client's employee against your employee while on-site with a client.
- Limits and Deductibles options
- Firms with 10 or fewer employees qualify for CAMICO's small firm program which provides a limit of $100,000 per claim and $100,000 in aggregate, with a deductible of $5,000 per claim.
- CAMICO's standard program provides firms of all sizes limits up to $1 million per claim and $2 million in aggregate, with deductibles ranging from $5,000 to $25,000 per claim.
- In the event of a covered claim, CAMICO has a select panel of experienced employment legal counsel available to defend you and your firm.
- CAMICO's experience shows that early intervention allows for "repair" work, which can minimize potential damages before they escalate. That's why CAMICO's employment practices liability (EPL) program offers incentives for early reporting that could have a significant monetary value for your firm:
- Pre-claim expenses such as attorneys' fees are not charged against the deductible or limit of insurance.
- CAMICO will reduce your deductible by 50% (up to $50,000) for reporting a matter before it becomes a claim, or when formal mediation is employed.
Note: The descriptions included herein are for illustrative purposes only. Actual coverage is subject to the language of the policies as issued. Coverage may not be available in all states.
