CAMICO provides members that have Employment Practices Liability insurance (for firms with up to 30 employees) with access to unlimited telephone and email consulting services in the employment practices and human resources areas. Employment practices specialists are available to advise you on issues that can help you reduce your exposure, including: background checks, workplace privacy, employee handbook assistance, workplace behavior standards, disability discrimination and policies and procedures.

Online Resources

In addition to the advice services, CAMICO offers members that have EPL insurance (for firms with up to 30 employees), exclusive access to online resources on the CAMICO Member Site. The site includes a suite of resources, advice and tools that CPAs can immediately download to answer HR-related questions and enhance employment practices throughout the firm. Resources include: HR news and articles, Glossary of common HR terms and terminology, Employee handbook constructor tool and State and federal law section, which summarizes laws in clear language

HR Consulting Services

At CAMICO, we believe in the value of our risk management services, and we strongly encourage members to take advantage of these services. The HR Consulting Services are provided through our partnership with ePlace Solutions. The EPL insurance policy (for firms with 31 or more employees) includes HR consulting services such as: unlimited telephone support, state-specific online resources, forms and procedures, training programs and monthly newsletters.

Online Resources

In addition to the HR services listed above, insureds have access to online resources, advice and tools that can be downloaded to answer HR-related questions and enhance employment practices throughout the firm. Resources include: training programs, wage and hour issues, application/interview process and anti-harassment training programs.
